Dr. Jessica Sonnier is a board certified Family Physician. She attended Bowling Green State University and Defiance College for undergraduate studies. She received her medical degree from Xavier University School of Medicine in Aruba in 2008. She completed a 3 year residency in family medicine, finishing in 2011. Since that time she has practiced as an Emergency Room Physician in Lake Charles. Dr. Sonnier has also practiced in an Urgent Care setting. She is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, as well as, Pediatric and Neonatal Life Support. She has gone through advanced aesthetic training for the administration of cosmetic neuromodulators.
Dr. Melissa LeBrun, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner that has over 12 years of emergency medicine experience in the Baton Rouge and Lake Charles area. She first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University in 2005. She then completed her Nursing degree in 2007 from Our Lady of the Lake College/Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Her nursing experience includes Emergency Medicine and Oncology. In 2011, she completed her Master's degree in Nursing from Loyola University New Orleans and became board certified as a Nurse Practitioner. In December 2016, she completed her terminal degree, Doctorate in Nursing Practice, from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Currently, Dr. LeBrun is an Assistant Professor at Loyola University New Orleans and Adjunct Professor at McNeese State University.
Mary Dahlen, FNP-C has over 25 years of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing at McNeese State University in 1994. As a Registered Nurse, she has had a vast amount of experience in Intensive Care, Medical & Surgical, and Cardiology nursing. In 2006, she then completed her Master's of Science degree in Nursing from McNeese State University and has practiced in primary care, occupational, and emergency medicine. She also had advanced training in cosmetic neuromodulator administration.
Paige has been a nurse practitioner now for seven years and in nursing for over a decade. She is seasoned in emergency and hospital medicine but also has experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery, hematology/oncology and primary care. She has practiced in many hospital locations throughout our community. She gratuated from McNeese State University for undergraduate and graduate studies and received post-master's education from Southeastern University. She is dual board certified through American Academy of Nurse Practationers and American Nurses Credentialing Center.
